Hey all! Part 1 (HEAVENS) of Chosen of Kore has officially finished, and now there will be a brief intermission before Part 2 (EARTH) starts posting.

Why? Well, I’ve outpaced my writing speed with posting speed, so I’m only on the 3rd chapter of Part 2 at this point; I’d like to attempt to get a bit further before posting resumes!

Luckily I have a bit of time off right now–today I’m going to Florence + the Machine so writing is not going to happen, I will be too busy driving for several hours and then dancing and screaming my heart out and hopefully securing some merch for myself (cross your fingers I get a tote bag!), and then driving home and probably not getting to bed till like, 4 am on the 13th. SO.

But AFTER, I have the entire long weekend off and my plans are to do NOTHING except the writing. Okay, and the choring, etc, that stuff doesn’t go away even when I have days off, alas. But mostly going to focus on writing. Telling my husband I’m ignoring him in favour of the book. (He’ll survive.)

Part 2 should start posting next week! I am going to try to hit some mega word counts this weekend and get as far ahead as I can before I head back to work after the weekend, as work weeks really have been putting a crimp in my writing time.
